Galaxy Note 4 vs Oppo N1

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs Oppo N1

I will start by saying that these are both very good phones, but for some people the Oppo N1 is a relatively unknown phone in comparison to the extremely popular Samsung brand. Also, I have used both of these phones for a while in order to get a good feel from them and I have to say that they both have elements that makes them good purchase. By the end of this article, you will know which one has the edge on the other, but they are both quite good and that is a good note to start this comparison with.

For starters the Oppo has a bigger display than the Galaxy Note 4, but this is not something that is extremely noticeable. I do believe that if you want to have a bigger display, the Oppo will be a much better choice than the Note 4, but the speed of the response to the touch screen is basically just as fast.

The processor on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is more powerful than the Oppo N1 and you can see this difference when you run applications that require a lot of processing power. The Note 4 has a 2.7 GHz quad-core CPU, but the Oppo N1 has one at 1.7 GHz. That is quite a difference in performance power, but they both handle most apps well. You will only se this difference with video games that have highly demanding graphics.

The Note 4 has a 16 megapixel camera and the N1 has 14, but the quality of the photos is quite similar and so is the video.

Aside from those differences they both have the same features in general, but for stronger processing power and slightly better quality in your photos and video I would say the Galaxy note 4 is the way to go.

Galaxy Note 4 vs Sony Xperia Z Ultra

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs Sony Xperia Z Ultra

I have to say that after trying both of these phones I picked one that I found to be superior, but the other one had some features that just felt better. I will give both of them a fair review and you will be able to make your decision with the information I provide.

For starters I have to say that the Sony Xperia has a slightly lager display and this is something that is not that important since the difference is quite small, but they both responded to the touch without delay when I used light applications such as what Sapp or FB messenger.

There is a huge gap in quality when it comes to megapixels because the Galaxy Note 4 has 16 megapixels and the Xperia only has only 8, but to be fair and honest, this is barely noticeable and you will only be able to see it when it’s dark, but during the day with enough light they both look basically the same.

The processors and built in storage of each phone are quite good but the Samsung comes with a 32GB built-in storage and the Sony Xperia Z Ultra has 16GB. I used both of them to store videos, photos and all kinds of files and they never gave me any problems, but I just felt like overall the Galaxy Note 4 was a bit better for me.

The Xperia Z Ultra is also great though and I would really have a hard time picking one, but if it needs to be done I would say that the Samsung Galaxy note 4 has more power and this makes it the winner on this one.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE

It's expected the Samsung Galaxy S variant Note 4 LTE, which will come soon with a more subtle advertising market. The Galaxy Note 4 S-LTE is able to achieve up to 450 Mbps (that's when the carrier is in support of the feature), making it the first cat. 9 LTE smartphone in the world to download at such monstrous speed of light. Insiders have also suggested that the device will be introduced only in the domestic market.

The technology, which drives these high speeds, is known as carrier aggregation. It works basically through the integration of three bands (20 + 20 + 20) MHz into the 2100 MHz frequency band.

By being attentive, it's clear that if all these technologies continue to raise the ceiling that technology can support. But some of the global network speeds are still playing catch up somewhere in the world and can offer little in terms of speed compared to what this cat. 9 LTE can do.

Amazingly, Samsung company has not told to the public the kind of processor that the device will be using, but it can be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810, a 64bit octa-core SoC that most people have alleged will arrive at the start of 2015, which was recently tested for the cat. 9 to be networked. Reports have already had the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 CPU consists of four Cortex-A57 cores at 1.9 GHz and another four cores at Cortex-A53 1.5 GHz.

In addition to its range of network services, the Samsung Galaxy Note LTE 4 S shares the same characteristics as the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 previously released. As a reminder, the Galaxy Note 4 operates with Android 4.4 OS and has a screen size of 5.7 inches quad LNBs-HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) Super AMOLED with 515ppi pixel density.

Android 5.0.2 Lollipop on Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge

Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Update on Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge

Latest reports say that top phone manufacturer Samsung will move to the latest version 5.0.2 Android operating system called Lollipop as they plan to update the Galaxy Note 4 systems. Recently was published an alleged image of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 running 5.0.2 Android OS (Lollipop), but there was not much difference with older Samsung Galaxy Note 4 OS 4.4 Android KitKat.

One of the most remarkable features of the phone is its notification area on the lock screen. In addition, native applications have been updated based on the nature of the construction of the user interface. It is natural that the Galaxy Note 4 and Note Galaxy Edge are likely going to be introduced in the latest version of the Android mobile firmware to be updated. What remains is the Samsung confirmation and official release date.

Most people are already speculating that just because the Galaxy Note Edge and the Note 4 share the same features therefore that they will get the latest update at the same time. Some even think that the Samsung company will find it difficult to update both devices to the latest firmware. Just like other updates, the technology company in South Korea will start the update process very slow because it has to work in a number of variants and countries.

It can take months for all devices to get the update. Samsung follows a phased deployment to update their devices in phases in order to collect more documented settings. It is possible that the last batch to get updated is likely going to get an updated firmware that is different from the first wave. Samsung has not confirmed if it will be implementing her smart phones with the same new Android version 5.0.1 or 5.0.2 that other manufacturers are dishing out.

Samsung is okay to skip a version or two in updating their devices because it has a history of updating Android firmware updates far behind other manufacturers namely LG, Sony and HTC. The current version of Android system firmware is criticized for errors and problems to the extent that speculators think Samsung could delay their own firmware update

Minor Differences between Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 3

Minor Differences between Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note 3

The Galaxy Note 3 screen size is 5.7 inches - In fact, the Note is only 0.1 mm, but less in all other aspects. More importantly, it does not really show up when you use it, but it shows progress is being made, and the screen is bigger, but not bigger than the Galaxy Note 4 rather they are the same size.

The battery has gone from a unit in Note 3 3200mAh to 3220mAh battery on Galaxy Note 4. There are also new All-in-One Micro-SIM and MicroSD card slot for Samsung Note 3. This combines two dual slot cards in a stack. An area of great efficiency.

In other countries, things have not changed much in the construction. For Note 3 the phone controls are largely the same place as the previous device which is Note 2 - power button on the right side, the volume of the left headphone jack and above.

When it comes to taking photos the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a better device when compared to the Note 3. The Galaxy note 4 boasts of a 16mp rear camera and a 3.7 front camera. Though while using it for taking shots or video calling, you may not notice the difference because the it's not much. The Note 4 comes with autofocus and flash, so does the Galaxy Note 3, and can record video in UHD 4K so does note 3. Note 4 has 16pm, 5312x2988 pixels, optical image stabilization, autofocus, and LED flash.

The software version of Note 4 is 4.4 Android KitKat and it can also be upgradeable to 5.0 while Note 3 is using Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (upgradeable to 4.4 KitKat), through the manufacturers that are making plans to make sure that it can be also upgraded to android version 5.0 OS.

Good to Know: Nokia Lumia 1320 vs Galaxy Note 4 - Camera and OS Differences

Please do not have high expectations with the 5-megapixel camera of Lumia 1320 and do not also expect to get any digital zoom without much grainy images that will look jagged. In 1320 Nokia image of excellence is not represented well.

But you are going to enjoy the nokia Lumia 1320 and have much fun with it because of the nokia lenses suite, which can be downloaded free of charge and provides a variety of additional and similar special effects to the camera, holding the original photos and offers high entertainment value but it still can't be compared to the Galaxy Note 4.

The Lumia 1320 comes with Windows 8 for mobile. This version of the software means that users can change the way that the preview screen allows selection alerts for calls and messages on Facebook and Twitter to stand on a single glance, without unlocking the phone. Users can double-tap the screen to enter the message and lock the screen before sliding to unlock. This is a nice feature.

The black Lumia update also means tiles can be stacked three times high to normal size to really enjoy the space on the screen. We could also make most applications on the first screen, so everything was visible without scrolling multiple screens.

Unlike Samsung Galaxy Note 4 that is an Android smartphone, when it comes to taking photos the Note 4 is a better device (compared to the Nokia Lumia 1320). The Note 4 boasts of a 16mp front camera and a 3.7 black camera. Though while using it for taking shots or video calling, you may notice the difference because the difference is much. The Galaxy  Note 4 with comes with autofocus and flash and can record video in 4K UHD.

Also, the software version of  Note 4 is Android 4.4 KitKat and can also be upgradeable.

In my opinion, after looking at these 2 features, I can confidently say that the Note 4 is a better device than Nokia Lumia 1320.

Why Galaxy Note 4 isn't the right choice for you

I don't think in the world existed or will be invented the perfect smartphone to satisfy the needs of all people in order to consider a gadget as perfect. More over, in a society dominated by the power of money, where the advertising budgets can change minds very easy, a good smartphone can be wrong appreciated: please see the example of iPhone smartphones that have a shit of hardware: dual-core CPU and 1GB of RAM - WTF?...

The main purpose of this article is to underline the most common problems of Samsung Galaxy Note 4, noticed by people that bought it several months ago and left over the internet negative (but argued) reviews.

Why Galaxy Note 4 can be a bad choice:

- if you're an iPhone fan (most negative reviews are made by iPhone owners after they bought a Note 4, and who usually believe that their smartphone is the best in the world);
- if you have small hands... then your Galaxy Note 4 looks like a 21 inches PC touch screen;
- if you're dumb, then the many features of Note 4 feature will always be a huge mistery for you, making the phablet usless from many point of your personal view;

- when sometimes the screen is freezing, or several apps have a huge latency;
- if you bought the phablet from Amazon and later your smartphone have software or hardware problems... you'll have a nightmare for weeks (their customer service is terrible);
- if you don't know how to setup the access of your background apps to the internet connection (depending by your data plan, you can pay many dollars for several GBs of data "eaten" by your apps when these were automatically updated).
