Why you should not buy Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge

The brilliant smartphones Samsung Galaxy S6 or Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge are one of the most awaited  products. These are breathtaking designed handset that offers the users the amazing experience to taste the first dual-edge display, radiant glass surfaces, and the beautiful curves of the gadget.

However, there are some reasons why you should not buy S6 or S6 Edge. Here are some reasons.

S6 and S6 Edge actually don’t have a slot for memory cards
 That means those who want to expand their memory storage must be disregarded. Folks who appreciate local storage are mostly the active supporters of microSD card slots on Android phones. Now we can just hope that there will be change in the local data.

No Water Resistant
With the high tag price we fairly expect that these are going to be sturdy and taft handset. The Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge have divide opinions. Those would love the futuristic and improved design. But with no Water resistant seems to be a problem for some people. These really need special care. And if you are a busy man with a lot of outdoor activity, you should consider to look for the best case to protect your S6 or S6 Edge.

They do not come with FM Radio Support
For me it is a big deal. I am used to hear news from Fm radio on my handset. This could be a problem for those who are fond of FM radio. In the other side, there are many other gadgets which have the same specification do have FM Radio support.

Non Removable Battery
Both S6 and S6 Edge come with non-removable battery. My hardest consideration is that when the battery drops (though the possibility is a little), it can ruin your day. When it was revealed that Samsung excludes the removable battery in its Galaxy S6 products , most fans were very disappointed.

Low Battery Capacity
Compared to HTC One M9, both S6 and S6 Edge have lower battery capacity. HTC One M9 comes with 2,840 mAh while S6 and S6 Edge are 2,600 mAh and 2,550 mAh.

The Same Main Camera Performance with S5
Both S6 and S6 Edge comes with 16 MP main camera like Galaxy S5. Those who expect the development of the camera will be mostly disappointed with this decision.


Too Expensive
They are too expensive amongst the others which have similar hardware specification.

Possibly the iPhone clones
Last But not least, S6 and S6 Edge are this “close” to iPhone smartphones?

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

Note 4 and S6 Edge are quite competitive mates. They are indeed one of the most prominent smartphones on earth. Big fans of Samsung must be confident by using one of these remarkable handsets. Now, let’s compare Note 4 and S6 Edge.

Galaxy S6 Edge use the same 16 MP image sensor as the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has, which namely Sony IMX240. You will see the revamped UI camera and software in Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Then there is S Voice shortcut by just double tapping the Home key. The launching of the camera is almost no delay. There is no more missed shots during your adventure. You don’t even need to wait the app to load. In the other side, Note 4 has a tad slower camera launching. Well it can be the downside.

In term of video quality, both Galaxy handsets shoot video up to 2160p at 30 fps. Both use 48 Mbps total bitrate and record fair quality of audio at 256 Kbps and 48 KHz sampling rate. As I’ve seen from the gadget reviewer site, the result video of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge appears slightly sharper. Moreover, the compression is also smoother than Note 4 has. At this point, we can call the S6 Edge as the winner.

Note 4, in many ways, is the S6 Edge’s bigger, older brother. There are some design similarities but there are also different things that make them distinct. Speaking of the size, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has impressive 10mm taller and 8 mm wider than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. It is almost 2 millimeters thicker and weighs 38 grams more. If you prefer lighter device, S6 Edge could be the answer. Both of Note 4 and S6 Edge have metal chassis, one material which makes both devices compelling.

When we look at the back of both phone, we’ll see obvious differences. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has a removable and textured plastic back. Also, S6 Edge has loud speaker on the bottom edge. In the opposite, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has loudspeaker on the back.


Speaking about the metal frames, they have significantly difference frames. Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has flatter frames. However, both have the same buttons on the front. You can say that they have similar designed home button.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has an absolute claim for the title of best mobile camera. It is due to its quality in refining image process which stunned both conventional users and interested photographers.
